Infrastructure Index 2017: a new direction for global infrastructure

29 Nov London, United Kingdom 06:00PM - 08:00PM

Description

We are delighted to invite you to the launch of the 2017 edition of the Infrastructure Index.

The past 12 months have seen significant political, economic and environmental changes across the globe, in particular in the UK.

The CMS Infrastructure Index presents the top 40 countries in order of investment attractiveness and highlights likely future trends across the sector. We consider emerging markets, new asset classes for infrastructure investment and why the UK has fallen from first to fourth for investment, with the Netherlands taking the top spot.

You will hear from Rt. Hon. Lord Adonis PC, Chair of the National Infrastructure Commission (NIC) who will share his views on the future of UK infrastructure. This will be timely following the publication next month of the NIC’s interim report for consultation on its first National Infrastructure Assessment (NIA), to be delivered by the NIC each parliament. This will be a fantastic opportunity to hear more about the NIA and provide your views.

We will also be joined by a panel of global infrastructure experts who will share their opinions on the future of infrastructure in Europe including Mark Collins, Director of Strategy & Public Affairs at CityFibre; Jaroslava Korpanec, Managing Director at Allianz Capital Partners and Rob Peters, Senior Financial Adviser and Pascal Mousset, Head of Department Procurement and Contracting at Rijkswaterstaat, The Netherlands.
